I just got a Stromer Confort 17 in ST1 at, I assume, a good price. The battery was made in 2017; so, I assume it is a 2017 model. This is the second one I got after the first one was returned for shipping damage. It is new but sold as used without any warranty. One problem is that the brakes are touching. I followed all the recommendations given in the internet how to regulate them, but could not solve the problem. The other problem is that the battery can be charged when it is outside the bike, but not when it is in the bike. Thus, the charger is working but there may be a problem with the charger connection in the bike. I have to decide quickly whether to keep the bike or return it. There is no Stromer service in the Houston area. Does somebody has any advice/recommendations about these problems? Thanks. H.

Cant advise on how to fix. However, having to remove the battery everytime you charge would be a pain. How did you determine it is not charging? Just make sure that the battery is not full when you charge the battery in the bike because it will turn off if the battery has more than 92-98% full (at least on my bike/charger). Maybe ride to deplete the battery and try again. Same for the brakes. Ride it a bit to see if the brakes will center. Good luck and keep us posted.
