Presta Valves Too Short.......Arrrggg

After Two Flats I decided to have "Beefy-er" Tubes & a Liner put in my Giant LaFree E+1 wheels.

All was fine until I tried to check my Tire Pressure before a ride...............
The valve ended up shorter then the Original Tube valve.
My Jaco Presta Tire Gauge wouldn't go down far enough to engage the Presta Valve, DANG !

Now what ?

I'm concerned about fiddling with the Presta Valves too much, because they seem so delicate to me, unlike Schrader Valves.

Any Advice ?

You can buy tubes with longer valve stems for next time, but for now you could use valve extenders.
