Powering an iPhone 7 from an XM700+

To my XM700 compadres... anyone have any luck with this? Once I finally tracked down a micro USB to USB cable, the damn phone just throws error messages that it is unsupported. Anyone got this working?

Only issue I've had with this bike. The thing climbs like a mountain goat. Love that Bosch system.

I have the Bosche system on my Powerfly 7 and I'm using an adapter from Amazon that gives me a full size USB port, so my aftermarket 12" iPhone lightning cable charges my 7+

It supports OTG functions on android like DACs and that might be what's different with my cable than yours.

Thanks Larry, I'll order it right away. So far I've gotten two cables for this, neither one of which work... but with all the computers around my office (work from home) I'll find something to do with them.

Been using those nice little Gem sticks in my handlebar bag, but it would be nice to have dependable power all the time.
