Play in rear wheel

I removed the rear wheel to fix a flat. I had run over something that sliced a 2 inch cut in the tire and tube. After I put the rear wheel back I checked for play and I have just the slightest amount of play in the wheel. It is so slight that I think it is ok but I am not sure. Should it be perfect or is that side to side movement ok?

When my wheel is loose, the torque sensor doesn’t respond smoothly, you can definetly feel a difference

Are you sure you put all the washers and spacer in correctly?

I installed new tires on my ST1 Platnum and here is how all the washers and spacers on the rear wheel went:

“On the left side of the rear wheel - acorn nut, two washers, before dropout - after the dropout the two sided washer with round side facing the wheel / on the right side, acorn nut, two washers before dropout - after the dropout, half inch long barrel spacer in cassette. “

I would check to see if yours are the same, as my real wheel has zero side to side play.
