Physical media, do NOT buy from Merchbar.

Since discovering and appreciating Steely Dan I decided to order some of their CD's. I stumbled across Merchbar online and decided to order 5 CD's back in September. All CD's showed in-stock, yet to this day my email invoice shows "Processing". It was later discovered that this site is run by a bunch of lazy bums. Since my refund time has run out my only option is store credit, from a site that doesn't deliver ordered goods! I hope they take my $130 and buy a bad dose of Fentanyl and overdose, never to recover!

So if any of you end up on Merchbar and see something you want, be it a gift of something for yourselves, just remember this thread and avoid Merchbar. That is my totally unrelated to ebikes Public Service Announcement! Merchbar equals scam!

That’s really frustrating—waiting that long with no update would annoy anyone. Honestly, a store credit from a site that didn’t deliver isn’t much help either. Thanks for the heads-up, I’ll definitely think twice before ordering from them.

So I found a HONEST place to order physical media from! Amoeba Records in CA. I keep forgetting they have a mail order service. The site is kinda weird but you'll learn how to navigate it after messing around for awhile. So I ordered all the Steely Dan CD's I could from them and also ordered most of the Alan Parsons Project CD's I though were out of print. On my last order from Amoeba I ordered the Tony Dolan era Venom albums in a tri-fold pack that have been out of print forever, and I threw in a shaped picture disc as well. So if you still buy physical media I highly suggest Amoeba Records.

Thanks for the tip, I had no idea Amoeba did mail order! I'm a big Steely Dan fan so I might have to check them out and grab some of those CDs. It's always great to find a reliable place for physical media that isn't just Amazon. Definitely bookmarking this one!
