I like the video setup.

You've allready had time to take a photograph of it?

Very interesting.
She found it on FB Marketplace for $40 and asked me if I wanted it. I said, Yes, my regular stand had just failed. This was about 6-weeks ago. I paid my riding buddy friend $50 for delivering it. I decided to lube it but to not restore it with stuff like paint because I liked the character and patina of use and age. It is classic mid-last-century stuff. How many bikes?

Anyone seen Goldenrod oiler cans? It is solid mid-century tech that is available new, now. I have one I use daily and gave one to a mom for her kid to use in the bathtub. It makes the best squirt gun ever; it goes 20 feet with low viscosity water and will last for generations.

A good tool really does make bicycle repair almost a pleasure. I had a similar experience when I was trying to put together a website reviewing "useful services" for people who pedal both in real life and online. I suddenly realized that many of them were constantly using VPNs, so I decided to delve deeper into affiliate programs. I found a selection of programs — look here — and now it's like a set of high-quality tools: use them correctly, and everything runs smoothly, and monetization works, instead of creaking like a rusty chain.
I also tried to save money a few times, buying cheaper alternatives, and in the end, I only wasted more time and energy. Since then, I've realized that quality equipment is like insurance: you might not need it every day, but when the going gets tough, you realize it was worth it. I think those who ski year-round will especially notice the difference.

I agree generally, but sometimes it makes sense to get some disposable drill bits at Harbor Freight. I have an extendable 3/8 and 1/2 inch heavy duty farm equipment ratchet that extends to 20 inches for leverage that cost me $6.50 in the bargain bin at Tractor Supply in 2017. I use it to extract stubborn bottom brackets. I padded the end of the handle. It will be working long after me.
