Went on a group ride just north of you (Parksville, on Vancouver Island). It was cloudy but we didn't get rained on and it was quite mild for this time of the year. I had to take a layer of clothes off half way through the ride.

It was a very mild day! The north end of Whidbey is in the Olympic rain shadow, so we frequently have sun, or at least dry, when everyone all around us has rain. Our rain is coming in tomorrow, so we seized the day today!
Glad you had a great ride too, & can't wait to get our hitch and rack so we can hit the rides further afield on the mainland!
