Orbea Gain motor cutting out

I have a Gain M20i and recently have had an issue with the motor not providing assistance - there are no flashing pink lights . The problem seems to be that when speed drops under 15.5mph the motor may kick in or it feels like you’ve just put the brakes on as if the motor is engaged as the sensors recognise that the bike requires assistance but gives no power - once over 15.5 mph it then pedals freely - I’ve checked motor connections and seem fine and cleaned the magnet lock ring but issue still happening - any ideas

My 2020 Gain M20i is at my LBS right now with a similar issue; the motor cuts in and out.
