My Vado SL 5.0 was delivered to me on Sept 4 2020. Today, one year later, my Garmin stats showed:
Rides: 145
Distance: 2776 miles
Time: 194:13:58. (Hr:min:sec)
Elevation gain: 81684 ft ( Florida is pretty flat )
Avg Speed: 14.3 mph
Avg Cadence: 55. ( I just can't spin anymore)

This is about 500 more miles than any other distance over the last 11 years for a 12 month period.
The only problem I have had with the bike is that the chain dropped once, probably because the
clutch was disengaged by someone ( not me ).

I bought the bike because I am in my eighties now and thought a little assistance would be helpful.

My standard gear is the third smallest cog on the cassette but there is a short pitch of seven percent where
I use the fourth smallest cog.

After I bought the range extender battery I have been riding almost exclusively in sport mode with the
standard settings, I use a little more than one percent of the batteries per mile.

I have recently upped my 'standard' ride to 25 miles and my Garmin reports that my best 40k is 15.5 mph.

I am really enjoying my time with the Vado SL 5.0!

You are an inspiration. Getting 82 thousand feet of gain in Florida has to be quite an accomplishment. Do you ride up pitched roofs?

You make me look forward to my SL 5.0 even more, assuming that I can eventually get one!
