Have had Vado 3.0 which has meet expectations for a few months and nearing 1k . At 78 the legs are not quit what they once were, oddly though the RHR has held < 40 and I have been able with nutrition and exercise to go prescription free (down from five twenty years ago). So put me in the confirmed bikie column.
Needed to go to something to get me out of the valley I moved to. The 400' climb to reach rim line, plateau, was just too much. No matter the training, just could not quit make it to the top before something upset condition plan (minor injury, season change that sort of thing). So the ebike adventure was begun and has been largely successful. But before going into a discussion, bare in mind that I see the Vado as merely the bike I am riding until I get my next bike, so read any future comment with that thought. I'm here in part looking for my next ebike.
While the Vado meets my base line requirements, (1) it is powerful and frees me from doing laps in my valley; (2) it was priced right for a Class 3 as it was a dealer demo which did not break the bank, I did not think I would exactly spot on and I would benefit for a year of experience. What I am finding is that I have a personal preference for road bike hand positions and the road bike riding position. But this is not a knock against the Vado as it is a commuter and not a road/exercise bike.
Am looking forward to reading member comments to enrich the ebike experience.
