BTW you definitely want to ensure you are buying a 750w 'O2 if you go that route as one of those should have the beefier controller internals.

My best advice is to do a lot of research before making a purchase. I got my first TSDZ2 from EcoCycles, and they've been very helpful all along the way. There are a lot of options, and these guys seem to have the most stock and accessory options:

You can't. You have to read the advertisement. Obviously it helps if the vendor is known/credible

That Tongsheng vs. BBS02 comparison dings the '02 for reliability. The fix for that is the upgraded controller bits. Pretty sure btw that all of the 750's have them but since '02's are sold by all manner of vendors I would not take it for granted. I buy my Bafang motors from Luna, but they are a source better suited to buyers who are completely DIY. California Ebike is more expensive but brings service to the table.
