I hope to get these tires when they are available for my bike. Right now they say that they will only come on new Stromer's. A strange way to market a tire.

I think that they will be 27.5 not 26" so not compatible.

Sorry, the Pirelli Cylc-e will only come with the Stromer ST5. All other new or continued Stromer in MY2018 will have the usual tires.

I would be interested in knowing how much more puncture resistant these are compared to the Schwalbe Marathon plus tires.

I've Schwalbe Marathon plus since years - even bevore having a Stromer. Running with 5 Bar, never ever a conventional flat occurs (once a huge nail...). I agree, for riding comfort, other solutions are better. This week, I passed this section with the broken glass four times (videostills from the dashcam):

It was crushed safety glass, but even broken glass bottles didn't stop me. I've some doubts, if the Cylc-e has the same performance. But I expect very good grip in high speed corners and excellent handling on wet roads.
