I am an e-bike rider from Northern Virginia. My wife and I have owned several brands of e-bikes, with our first being some Pedegos we purchased about four years ago. More recently we tried several brands of fat tire bikes, including Senada, Magicycle, and Aventon. Next, we bought a pair of Heybike Solas, which turned out to be hidden gems. Finally, we ordered a pair of Evelo Omegas which are still in transit. Most of our riding is on flat, dedicated bike paths, including the C&O Canal trail and the Mount Vernon Trail. We have also ridden our bikes on the beach in Florida. Sadly, one of our Aventon Adventure 2s was stolen from our fenced-in backyard recently which has alerted us to the need for robust security. We had thought that keeping the batteries inside would make the e-bike unattractive to a thief, but we misjudged the criminal mind.
We have great hopes for the Omegas, but our favorite bikes so far are the Pedego City Comuter, the Pedego Conveyor, and the Heybike Solas.
