I recieved my new surface 604 boar on Friday. Got it put together easily, and charged the battery over night. I took it out Saturday for the first ride, and it was every thing I'd hoped for.....at first. Then the power went out.
I dont think the battery is contacting the receiver fully. Anyone had this issue?

Welcome to the site.
The first two batteries I bought would lose voltage internally when I demanded more than 5 amps. The 3rd cost 2.2 times as much and was actually good.
Trouble with an ordered bike, you can't send the battery back for testing. You are not a certified haz mat shipper. Best of luck with the company about the warrenty.
It actually possible that the connection between battery & controller is bad. Could also be a lot of other places. DVM would tell, but difficult to use on a bike with the battery hidden inside a cover.

How far did you get before the power was lost? I would try all the connections in case there is a loose one. Recharge the battery. Hopefully it is something easy.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I got about a 1/2 mile. The battery still has full charge. I took the battery out and reinstalled it and it worked for another 1/4 mile.
I'll give them a call tomorrow to see what they can do. Thanks
