Welcome to the forum. We have a place in Salida, not to far from you. Lots of great riding to be had in Colorado.

Hello from windy Colorado. Enjoying my Giant Talon 3 E-Bike. Just got installed a dropper post. What a difference that made in my rides.
Take Care.

Pretty bike! I googled an image and it looks wonderful.
Feel free to post your pics & adventures.

Yes, I’m close by. Live in North Fork Valley, Hotchkiss to be exact. Great trails out here. Just trying to access them. Know any good Apps for Mt Bike Trails. Keep in mine NOT a technical rider and care not to be. So limited single track routes are ok. Thanks

Thanks, Marci jo. What got my attention to this particular bike was Giant’s reputation on E-Bikes. Plus the price range makes it fairly reasonable in comparison to other E-Bikes.

Congrats on the new bike!

I'm weighing it and the Tero 3.0. How do you like the Alivio drivetrain? Which dropper did you add? Was the cable installed through the frame? Are you using the Ant+ interface? Sorry for all the questions, these are issues I'm concerned about.

Hope you have many happy miles.

Welcome aboard! Some beautiful country around Hotchkiss. (Till recently, lived near Denver for 20 years.)

There are several threads for sharing rides and places you ride. Would love to see some shots of your bike and area.

Are you using the Ant+ interface?
Hi Stuart,
I'm not the OP but I can attest LEV ANT+ has been working perfectly for Giant and Specialized e-bikes since 2020, Wahoo or Garmin. I have used Wahoo ELEMNT Roam v1 and v2 and Bolt v2 on my two different Specialized e-bikes, and my brother has been using a Garmin 530 on his Giant Trance E+ Pro 2 since the time I bought my first Wahoo. We both use these bike GPS computers as primary displays of our e-bikes. No issues!

Sweet! Great to know. That certainly keeps Talon in the loop. I could hardly see anything on the Talon's Display A readouts, but the Tero's MasterMind TCD was on par with Yamaha's E6100. Being new to Ebikes, it seems a minimum of legible info should be speed, cadence, battery charge, and how hard the battery is working.

What you can get via LEV ANT+ from Giant and Specialized e-bikes is the speed, distance ridden (measured from the rear wheel RPM and calibrated wheel circumference), e-bike battery level, Assist Mode, your cadence, your leg power as well as the Battery Range (for the e-bikes that can calculate that parameter). Calories burnt is a free bonus 😊
