New Ebiker.

Hi Everyone
My name is Andy and I am 54 today and have just taken delivery of my first E Bike. I have purchased a BMC Alpenchallenge City Ltd. I did a lot of research before taking the plunge on this purchase. I haven't done any cycling for near on 20 years and feel that buying this will encourage me to get out and exercise more which I need to do as I have been relatively sedate since giving up 5 a side football six years ago. I am sure I will be posting quite a few questions on here as I learn about this new technology. It is just charging up and am eagerly awaiting full charge so I can go for a ride. Will try an post a picture of the new machine later.

Happy birthday! An ebike is a great present to yourself and I guarantee you will be out there riding whenever you can. It restores that feeling of fun and freedom you got when you had a bike as a kid. Enjoy!

I too have recently gotten hooked on an e-bike and I'm loving it. I'm quite a few years older than you are and I'm using my bike to commute over 40 miles per day. I get to my office in not a lot longer time than if I was fighting traffic in my car, without having the stress that car driving has. And I'm getting good exercise too.
