Hi, glad to be here!I recently finished my first ebike build after having an interest in ebikes for a few years. I was looking at factory built options but the price vs performance factor left a lot to be desired. And building an bike let me create exatly what I wanted. I got a Bafang BBS02 750w kit with a 48v 17.5Ah battery from bafangusadirect.com and installed it on a Jamis Dakar full suspension xc MTB. Based on the research I did anf all the confusing info out there I believe it's all totally legal for my area's bike paths. So far its been awesome, just waiting for the weather and light conditions to get a little better before I start riding to work. Can't wait to do more exploring with my go-anywhere ebike as well!

this is portland the weather is what it is. I have ridden every day for the last three months not a big deal.
