Giant should have sent notice to every dealer to update every bike in their inventory. There’s no excuse to have to take a new bike into a dealer during a pandemic.
So if the majority of mountain bike buyers ride on paved bike paths, would it also be ok for the suspension not to work?
Picking a poor app partner when you are new to the game is one thing. It seems that they may have been able to minimize some customer dissatisfaction through better tech training and support. Having to go to the dealer to update the software when it’s advertised as being able to do so from your phone is silly. These updates were known and every dealer should do them before it leaves the store.
