New 2018 Stunners

These seem so different, is there a comparison between the 2018 and the older versions

Older versions didn't have the motor built into the frame and had either a 7sp derailleur or 3sp internal hub. The old ones were also a 36V system while the new ones are 48-52V.

Does that help?

Has the LT been updated ?

With the LT we updated a couple of things:
1. Changed geometry a bit to support 24 and 26" wheels
2. Built in rear rack
3. Support for batteries up to 48V 20Ah
4. Optional hydraulic brakes available now.

Some times a simple post can make a big difference
After reading Roshan post of what's new it clued into me, I ordered the wifes bike with the wrong tires and could have upgraded the brakes.
A simply email to Biktrix fixed that problem (that was easy)

The website shows the Stunner having a Sturmey Archer 5 speed IGH yet you're saying it's now coming with the Shamano Nexus 7 speed. Which is it? Thanks.

We used 7sp shimano on the previous gen. We had a couple of them fail. Also, they don't have a shimano 7sp with disc brakes. Due to this we switched to a Sturmey 5sp - it's been great and has disc brakes. The gear ratio is the same on the 5sp or 7sp.

So to clarify, the bike 2018 Stunners came with shimano 7sp and band brake.

2019 Stunners have Sturmey 5sp with disc brakes.
