New 1500W Avinox Amflows

The cheaper of the motors the M2 is still better then the original, comes with a full carbon full sus bike with slimmer battery and at £3999. Base level alloy Levo is same price.

I had thought they might announce a smaller, lighter motor for gravel and road use today, but no, they are sticking to max power baby! Disrupting the EMTB world first.

Also Avinox have hit the Promotion button into overdrive. Just refreshed YT and there must be a dozen reviews from all the usual suspects but also even small time mountain bikers without many subscribers have got their hands on one, they're got these new models out to reviewers months ago to make a massive bang today. I'd been saying recently that bike launches recently, post covid had seemed subdued, but not DJI they are going for it! Even road bike magazines like Road CC are covering the launch, spreading the media net very wide.

The Aventon European launch is going to be eclipsed, their new full sus Aventon Current sits right in this price bracket and looks a nice bike, but the headlines will go to Avinox.

The Atherton is a creation...1.5KW 150nm, round tube battery

Ive just watched Tommy Hype lose 9% battery in one techy climb 🙁.
The reality is if you let full power glide you up the mountains, youre looking at 10 mile range...works for me 🤣

This is the same power as my Bafang BBSHD, I rode my friends Levo Turbo up Coniston and was destroyed, I rode it on my Bafang and felt barely affected at the top.
Is the new motor 36 or 48v?
How is this going to work in the US?
They have various laws about peak and nominal power.
Surely the EU are going to step in at 250W nominal..1500 peak..🤣

After the release of the first Amflow there was a big European brands confab in Germany I think with Bosch and Spesh and others warning that if this led to a power arms race they were in danger of having the EU clamp down and class these bikes as mopeds etc. That warning seems to not have been heeded by the Chinese!!

Its still 25kmh limited
Think of an uncontrolled behaviour of such a beast. It always happens when you least expect it, and it is called an "accident". Your Levo peaks at 565 W. Not enough? I got a wheelie with my Giant's 520 W when I wanted to climb an escarpment.

This is getting very confusing, different claims for the bike price and completely sold out across Europe.
Theres so many models on the Amflow page that its not clear which is which or wether its carbon or alloy
