Need strong 8-speed freewheel for strong motor

I’m burning through freewheels with my mid-drive Bafang 1,000 motor.

I found a Sunracer MFE60 but it sells for $20 and I have trouble believing it’s a true ebike freewheel at that price.

Other than that I can’t find anything that claims to be an ebike freewheel for 8-speed.

I found an 8-speed SRAM cassette which costs over $400 and I was told I would have to get a different wheel to run a cassette in stead of a freewheel.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are no "good" freewheels, let alone e-bike freewheels. Freewheels are only made for less expensive bikes, so unlike 40 years ago, there are no upper tier models. Back then, freewheels were rebuildable and customizable; you could buy individual cogs and make any combination you wanted. Regardless, the steel that makes up the cogs of freewheels or cassettes does not really change, so a high powered motor is just going to wear them out if you are always riding in high gear and at maximum assist.

That was one of the reasons I went with the 750w BBS02B and not the BBSHD. I had concerns about my 12 year old cheapó bike tearing itself apart.
I've got 1000 miles on it since the install and probably 6k-8k miles overall and will be changing the freewheel (chain/ chainwheel as well) for the first time ever once it arrives. Believe it or not, my chain still hasn't reached .75% worn.
I think the money that you save upfront on a bike can result in more maintenance and parts down the road. Depending on how hard you ride... it can be a bad decision to go cheap upfront.
For the casual rides that I do... It really hasn't been a problem.

Unobtanium. I bought a new wheel to use cassettes. But a $400 cassette will freak out most builders.
