Hi! I have a Load 60 (up from Charger gen. 1), and I thought its about time I put on my big boy pants and learn how to change brake pads on my own.
The TRP user manual says to use SP10.11 brake pads. I cant find these locally, and im not sure if its a product family or a product in itself. The TRP website gives the following options, it seems:
If brake noise is my primary consern, is it the resin pads I want? Should I use TRP pads, or can I use pads from other brands as well?
Any dos and donts with regards to changing pads?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: typo

TRP 4-Piston Performance Resin Pads
Our most race ready pad and the most popular among our athletes on the UCI DH World Cup Circuit due to its extremely fast bed in and ability to provide a consistent feel in all conditions.

TRP 4-Piston Semi-Metallic Pads
A pad that splits the difference between our blue and copper compounds giving a nice balance of modulation and long lasting wear. Best for those looking for a quiet braking experience and a subtle onset of power.

TRP 4-Piston Sintered Pads
We designed this pad to handle high heat, high wear, and extreme weather conditions. This hard metallic compound provides a firm bite feel at the lever and offers more consistency for heavier bikes and riders.
