Need inrush current limiter for battery

Hi, I have a motor, controller and a battery a good start, but my peak draw exceeds my BM so I need a current or power limiter. I have searched, but I haven't found anything helpful. Does anyone have a recommended current limiter ?

I think I would prefer 50A, but 60 or even 75 can be handled by my BM @ 36 VDC but the 100 ish peak that my controller is demanding exceeds my BM.

I think you need to buy a better controller. 100 amp draw is rediculous. Does it do this only when you first plug it in, or anytime you're drawing 2000 Watts or whatever? Controllers have maximum current draw ratings, mine is 26.5 amps for 1000 W @ 48 v.
One sort of current limiter is the PTCR, positive temperature coefficient resistor, but the biggest one I can buy that doesn't go to infinity resistance like fuses, the CL-101 is good for about 30 amp loads.
