I've narrowed it down to Lectic XP and Eahora x7 or x5

Any particular reason to go with the x7? The x7 I want is 500 more. 750w and other upgrades. What do you like about the bikes direct bike?

The X7 has hydraulic disk brakes and better component specs vs. the other models.

For $200 more, you can get a Shimano mid-drive motor for climbing steep hills, X9 drivetrain, and replaceable battery.

Thanks for the knowledge. How fast can that 250w bikes direct bike go? Does it have a throttle?

It has a Shimano E5000 mid-drive motor rated for Class 1 speeds at 20 mph... no throttle available.
The bike has a Shimano display on the bars and you can fine-tune your speed/range with a phone app.

I have a few Ebikes and 2 are Shimano mid-drive... bulletproof with no issues since purchase in 2016. See my signature for details.

I've done a ton of research, and at the price point I was leaning toward Lectric XP, however, I would highly recommend looking into the Aventon Sinch. I bought the Sinch and should have it in a week or so, the Lectric won't ship till mid-July at the earliest. beyond that, the battery, derailer, seat, grips, suspension, welds are higher end. Lectric is good for the money but sinch is a step up. also seen eahora compared to sinch as a base vs higher-end, either way, have fun, good luck

Only thing that concerned me about the sinch is the motor. 750W (peak) 500W (sustained) 48V Brushless Motor, might be the same power as the lectric. For 100 less, you can get hydrolic brakes and a true 750w motor with the x7.
