My Radwagon 5 arrived

Got the tote mounted tonight

This time I mounted the turn signals to the frame instead of the tote bottom as before.

Since the larger 60t chain ring I installed had a tendency to catch the bottom of my scrub pants I used a velcro band around the leg to prevent that from happening. After I forgot to put it on on the way home from the grocery store I decided to try and make a chain guard to mount on the bike. I looked at several options with stuff I had in the garage. I hot bent some ABS plastic but that did not work out. Finding some brackets along with a shipping bracket that came with a 3D printer I bent 90 degrees for a mount, I ended up with this.

So that first chain guard did not work as I still had to tie up my scrub leg. So I took a piece of angle aluminum I had laying around and made this one....

I wish every bike had a chain guard from the company. I can cobble one together if needed but its just nice and easy when one is already included. That looks great US!

I haven't done s*it.

But my new mid-drive throttle arrived. 😁
I have a brand new full suspension 29er and a new BBSHD sitting downstairs collecting dust while I watch the playing out of the new ebike laws here. No way do I want that bike confiscated by over-zealous cops cracking down on the latest fad in protecting the public. I'll let the dust settle.

I'm wondering if the laws will change here in Virginia. I saw at least 8 moped style ebikes today while coming home from the dentist. This was near our oceanfront area. Over half of them were fast, very fast! So far no enforcement here.

Oh, and only one guy wearing a helmet. He was spotted further out from the oceanfront, going around 30mph. Sorry about the overkill laws in your neck of the woods LandoftheGiants.

Yah. Same here. To me, sitting around with a great (potential) bike while waiting for the laws to settle seems very frustrating. But then again, I live where there is no significant problem and very little enforcement to begin wtih.
