My Hyrda will be black, but convince me otherwise

Hey all.

So this is a picture of my helmet

I chose Black to matchy matchy, but am open to suggestions from the WW faithful.

Any thoughts?

I was just thinking, I want some feedback too. Later today I'll look up the recipient of a fat tire Hydra in black that picked it up in person a month or more ago.

I wonder how he is getting on with black performance wise?

My Frey is flat black. I had no choice. I would never choose flat black knowing what I now know. The black bike looks dirty all the time. Perhaps a gloss black would not be so. At least my bronze bike's color is close to the color of the dirt around here and looks much better. I don't 'wash' these Bafang motored bikes as I have near zero confidence in their water resistance given what I have seen of the motor enclosure and the wiring. That leaves brushing and sponging to get one clean and that's a lot of trouble.

Edit: I should add ...The Hydra is exponentially easier to clean than the Frey due to its much more open geometry. The Frey with fenders and rack has many tight corners and crevices that make it a total pain to clean.

Well, I wanna be in the ballpark to my Camo helmet. Looking at a number of options not limited to: Multicam series - plae green, dark green, olive etc Mil Spec Green maybe? Now interested in Tactical Grey C-228 or H-227

Again... open to suggestions

My current bike, 1998 Stumpjumper is Orange...... so there is that too....

I'm happy with my bronze Hydra but if money was no object and I had to do it over I'd go with a high gloss paint over the Cerrakote. Much easier to keep pretty. JMO

Then I'd go with a lighter color Cerrakote in a shade of tan. Just from a maintenance point of view.
