I do a lot of gravel riding though not much sand. I was not expecting much from the Super Moto tires but I have really been impressed with them on gravel. At least the gravel we have around my area 
My 700 is not hacking it in Yuma. Going to order a Juiced Rip Current S w/4" tires

My 700 and the new RC-S are surely different. I would say my 700 is a "gentleman's ride" and the RC-S is a "cowboy". Must remember that the RC-S costs $1000 more- which is huge in the mail order eBike world. For me-I need 2 eBikes for different terrains. The RC-S was easier to put together with more things preassembled. The RC-S is the only eBike, that I know of, that claims Torque and Cadence in a rear hub. I think the system is patented by Juice. Neither bike is better than the other.
