Moustache Bikes

Hi all, I'm just curious why the very conclusive e bike reviews associated with this site don't include anything from the Moustache bikes range? I'm biased because I ride, rent and sell them but you should check them out, they make electric assist / bosch bikes only. www.moustachebikes.com/uk for the English site (they are made in France).

Cheers and happy cycling all!
C.

Since the site US oriented, and it appears based on the link you provided that those bikes aren't sold in the US, there wouldn't be any bike available to review here!

Yes I thought that maybe the case, great bikes but a small company. If any reviewers from here are ever in New Zealand get in touch and I'll give you one for a day on the trails.

The 27 rear 29 front full suspension mountain bike is very interesting. To bad no US dealers, its a pretty bike :)
All moustache mountain bikes run the 27.5 rear, 29 front concept, bikes handle very well. only slight negative is the 2 dif spare tube sizes but this is pretty much negated when you run tubeless. 29 front gives great obstacle clearance, 27.5 rear gives more torque and improves cornering performance.

We'll be bringing them in. They make great bikes and they are really passionate about quality and design. We have some on order right now and they should be arriving in a month or so. It's a little complex with the Bosch logistics, but we're getting it worked out.

We look forward to helping to introducing these awesome bikes to the US.

Personally I think that at least in the UK, that they are considerably overpriced. And in respect of the e-mtb, I can't stand the frame design. They just look like they have had a massive front end impact.

Each to their own though.

We're really excited about their street bikes.

I really dig the Lundi. I think it's really well designed and it rides great.

I think the Friday 27 Speed is pretty sharp too!

I think the STARK Asphalt Bike would be ideally for city riding. Maybe I'm off, but I really like their designs

Those are some of the most attractive ebike frame designs I've ever seen. When I first saw the Grace MXII, I fell in love, but some of these Moustache designs give Grace a run for their money!

27.5 rear, 29 front? Um, that's silly.
You should try it before you knock it, trail motor bikes have used this principle for years and for good reason. I personally think the Moustache range are some of the best eBikes currently available, they have a unique combination of style and function.

No, I'm going to go ahead and knock it now. US riders are not going to be interested in carrying two different tubes on every ride. It's silly.

I carry none when I ride so it wouldn't matter to me. if the bike runs well I would be interested. I have recently replaced my current tires to slightly smaller , 1st on the rear then a couple weeks laterthen the fronty I wanted them to match because they were different in appearance,1 was more balloon style didn't have the "white wall" reflector. It ran fine and i think I picked up some torque from the smaller rear tire.

This may not work for you but there are many different people out there and it may work for others. You maker think it is silly but it doesn't make it an out an out fact, tolerance is good :)

"Silly" is obviously a subjective opinion. I'm not going to argue it as a fact, because that would be silly.
