Motor upgrade

Hi guys just wondering is it possible to upgrade my 500watt hub motor to a 750 watt on my Pedego Ridge Rider ? would love some feedback on this ? What would be involved in such a project ? Thanks

To build on that a bit, the controllers often act as an electronic bottleneck between the battery and the motor. Replacing that OEM/factory controller, with one purchased on the aftermarket that doesn't have that bottleneck, can often lead to significant performance increases. I THOUGHT Bolton was making a "kit" consisting of a controller and display for the Pedego, but I don't see it now. They sell a very similar kit for the RAD product that's very popular.
