Hello, so im converting a hardtail mountain bike to a 3000w 72v e bike. For the upgrades on the bike itself, what would ypu reccomend. I am trying to save some money on this by the way. I assume i should upgrade the fork (any reccomendations on what fork?) And then the brakes... im thinking 4 piston hydraulic brakes? (Any reccomendations on what brand?) And what rotor size? Thanks.

Suggest you join the Facebook Bafang G510/M620 and M630 private group for ideas and advice. some of those enthusiasts are building Bafang 72V 6000W e-bikes.

Personally I think 3000w in a hardtail is dangerous, dual suspension is “less” dangerous with far better suspension compliance at the sorts of speeds you’ll be travelling at.

For brakes you’ll probably need something decent like Hayes Dominion A4, Magura MT7,etc or similar with 203mm rotors as a starting point.

"3000w 72v e bike" and "save some money" shouldn't be spoken in the same breath. Nevertheless, hoping you stay safe and good luck!
