motor turning off

I have a Biktrix Juggernaut, Bafang BBSO2, 1000w motor.... when I hit the throttle or pedal the motor works for a second and then stops....works for a second and then stops. No error code. Less than 800 miles on the bike and a voltmeter says battery is fine. Someone told me it might be a blown MOSFET in the controller. But, again, no error code. Any one with this issue?

Have you contacted Roshan at Biktrix? He's usually pretty prompt at responding to emails.

I did contact Roshan... he wanted to send me a new controller for 120 and said it was easy to insert. A ebike shop over email thought it was blown mosfet in the controller. I currently have the bike at a bike shop who said they work on ebikes... they don’t seem promising.... wanted to give them ideas of the problem and solution. I’m not much of a mechanic so I wanted to encourage the ebike mechanic wannabe to fix the bike.... only 150 miles away. The ebike mechanic who thought it was the controller is 350 miles away. Hoping forum had ideas to pass on. Tough not having any ebike mechanics close.

I can understand your frustration. Here's a really good YT video from Luna Cycles of how to swap out the controller. Looks pretty easy, just lots of screws.

Not a tough project at all. But if you have a 1000W it's a BBSHD. Be aware that the BBSHD(BBS03) has a gasket that can be easily damaged.
