Motor postion

Hello
In your opinion which motor positioning/angle is better , or does it even make a difference(see photos)? Same motor, same type of bike. One is more horizontal the other vertical. Thank you

I think the steeper angled motor looks better, and slightly less noticeable, but in reality it doesn't make any difference in performance. However, you do know that those are different Bosch motor models, correct?

No I thought they were the same motor. The Bulls Dail-E has the Bosch Performance Speed 28 and the Trek CrossRip+ +Bosch Speed Performance, 350 watt, 63Nm, 28 mph. Thanks for bringing that up. I see now that the picture of the Dali-E on Bull's site shows a Performance Line CX but in the specifications is lists the drive train as Bosch Performance Speed 350W. Maybe they mistakenly posted the picture of the the EU version.

We are starting to see the angled motor more frequently, as it helps with clearance issues when riding over obstacles. More particularly, these angled motors can be found on a lot of off-road intended use bikes.
