What is everyone’s opinions of the Bosch performance speed (28mph) vs the Specialized 2.2 (Vado 28mph). Which ride modes do you prefer? Reliability? Seems like Bosch is not doing much with the performance speed any more.

I think you should place more weightage on feedback from people who have used both systems extensively.
Here is a review from someone who has used Brose for 20,000 miles (with 4 or 5 replacements) and Bosch for 2000 miles:

It was not the new generation motor (there is the Gen2 of Specialized motors now). Besides, I have ridden for more then 11,000 km on a 2017 Specialized Brose Gen 1 motor without issues.
