Mini USB to I-Phone

My raleigh retroglide has a charging port which is a mini USB and I'm having a hard time finding a cable that will work for my Iphone 8 plus. Any ideas?

From what I read, the bike will not really charge a phone. Maybe maintain it. Very low current to the phone.

Thanks but that is a micro usb and not a mini usb. I found one on Amazon that is a mini usb to female usb so that I can use my adapter that came with my phone. At least i hope it works.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T20W110/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't know why these bike companies even use the mini usb when they are becoming obsolete and there isn't many options to use them.

How many amps are output from the bike on that port? I bet it's around .5 amps, and your phone is probably used to getting 1 or 2 amps.
So with the screen on, you may find that it does not charge very quickly, or at all as has been suggested.

I like to listen to my music on my phone so if it keeps me from draining it down to far then I would be happy with that.
It looks like that article is 5 years old. I charge my phone of my PC and usb port and my Iphone 8 plus charges in a couple of hours which is a lot faster than that article says.

Warning, this is off topic!

@MarkF - how do you like your Retroglide? I wanted one, but my LBS didn’t have one to test ride, so I ended up getting my Magnum (which I am very satisfied with). Wish I could have at least test rode one.

I like my retroglide a lot. I looked at a lot of bikes and ended up choosing the one I like the look of while keeping it under $2000. Now that i have my first ebike, I want one that goes 28 mph or faster. 20 is more than enough in the neighborhood, but out on the main road, I wish I had more. Funny my local bike shop had a magnum in the store and he tried hard to sell it to me. But the looks of the bike didn't do it for me and I insisted on the raleigh. I'm happy for my first ebike purchase and look forward to getting a second one in a couple of years. I will look for a commuter bike with speed next. I will let you guys know if my adapter works with the mini usb port on my bike.

I got my Iphone adapters and they work great. The 90deg. works perfect for a mini USB adapter and then i ordered a short phone adapter so i wouldn't have a bunch of extra wire hanging off the bike
