"Mid June" Radrover shipments

Just got a shipping notice for my mid june shipment Radrover. I ordered the black one.

Right now, I'm planning to add the Big O fenders, some SPD pedals, and maybe a rear rack. Can't wait.

It's here and now fully assembled without any issues. The shipping box had a couple of minor tears but nothing got scratched inside. Probably took longer to remove all the zip ties than assemble it. Can't ride it yet as I had it shipped to work, so I'll have to take a bus to work tomorrow and ride it home. It's a big bike and might be too big and heavy for me to lift & fit into my compact car today.

Couple of things I'm not sure I've seen mentioned. There's a derailleur guard for the rear derailleur. And the two screws on each sides right behind the headset, are those water bottle bosses? I don't have a bottle cage here to see if they line up.

Hello! I am so excited, I can't sleep. After a month long search I decided to go with the black Radrover. I ordered the bike Aug 12 and it will be here tomorrow Aug 18. While researching bikes, I came across this forum. The people here are very knowledgeable and I feel fortunate to have found it. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all and learning from yours. I will post the condition of my bike when it arrives, as of 7:05 pm today it only switched trucks 2 times after leaving Everett, WA. Once in Portland OR and now in Hodgkins, IL. It will probably come straight to me here in Milwaukee from there. Can't wait to see my baby!!!
Cheers!

@Berniejockjr - Please let us know how things go with your new Rover. I am curious what the condition it will be in when it arrives. Both of my Rover shipments were damaged during shipment. Thanks

Ah the excitement of modern day shipping, and the tingle I get when I hear the low rumble of the UPS truck coming down my street, stopping in front of the house and pulling that gynormas package out of the truck,, I'm pretty sure I told the driver I Loved em,,, hell, I might be engaged!
But bringing that box in and opening it up is a fun adventure!
I've put 100 miles on mine so far with no issues,, a couple of flats, but nothing effecting performance. It's a fun ride!
Enjoy!!

Absolutely! filming the box in the truck with a flapping 1ft x 1ft area of the box gave me mixed emotions. I honestly felt the same way though!
Cheers!
Safe riding!

My bike arrived! I filmed the delivery for a record but probably won't need it. The box had a 1ft x 1ft tear and was flapping (near the fork). the derailleur guard poked through the box and was slightly bent inward with minor wear on corners of gaurd (no worries). one very small nick in rear rim (barely noticeable - factory?- no worries)
I would have to say, for the minimal amount of protection, the bike is in extremely good condition. I am off to nephews football game so assembly and test ride update won't be till much later tonight.
The packaging needs to be corrected, I feel very fortunate that the bike made it before the box completely fell apart! lol.
Cheers!

Put the Radrover together last night. Super stoked that it came with a rear Blaze-Lite, was not expecting that! Thanks Rad! Powered it up and set settings, everything works and is straight. Done at 130am. Woke up to rain:(, (at least we are finally together), looks like I will just have to go to wheel & sprocket to buy her some new presents, LOL.
