Does such a thing exist on a production bike? Has anyone cobbled together one? Was just thinking about this today and wondered what that experience would be like. I like the natural feel of mid-drive motor systems but also love having a throttle. I know there are certain mid-drive systems with throttle, but hear that there are concerns with chainring tension. In my imaginary scenario, there would be a main mid-drive motor along with a small throttle-activated secondary hub motor for a boost. I’m sure bike weight could become an issue. Curious to hear your thoughts.

Both Bafang and SurRon offer throttles on mid drives. People on the internet are pushing them to 60mph. The SurRon is more motor bike than ebike.
