No drill, but I do use DeWalt batteries to power my bike. There's even enough room for a water bottle cage:

I tried something similar to this years ago. I hooked up a 5a corded drill from ace to a 1200w inverter on a sun ez-3-sx. the only difference is my setup was directly connected to a nut on the rear axle. I got about a block away when I saw the white smoke. fortunately no fire.
