Wow, nothing about that bike's appearance suggests Maserati had a hand in the design; at least to my eyes. Their cars are like rolling sculptures, and immediately identifiable on the road; the bike looks like a thousand others, but with M's logo decal applied :(

Indeed... well, it has clean lines, nice paint, looks super crisp in the illustration -- but all that hardly seems "enough" Maserti design magic -- and certainly not enough for my 10,000 euros.

Love the bit from the article:
It is the ultimate racing bike for the amateur cyclist who needs a boost from the powerful Bafang M800 motor when it is needed – to follow friends on a training run or going uphill.

Ultimate racing bike... for the amateur cyclist... to follow friends on a training run...

So wait, for racing? Or only for training? And are there amateur cyclists who go straight for a $11,400 bike?! (I know -- the answer is "of course!")

But hey - putting yourself on an ebike, and then "racing" against your non-motorized "friends" is always going to produce happy, smiling results at the finish line, without any conflict or debate...!

ROTFLMAO... :D:D:D

Many road rides are 50 miles or more and a 200wh battery won't get you up too many hills or headwind miles until you are just on a heavy bike and off the back of the pack. If you are just cruising the flats and know how to wheel suck then is there really a need for an e system if you are at all a serious cyclist, at least one willing to pay the premium these new breed of eRoad Bikes are demanding?
