Just got the my xp and haven’t even rode it yet.Just going through all nuts and bolts and making sure everything is tight and working as it should.
I had to tighten the barrel adjuster on both front and rear brakes as they were set a little to close to the grips and felt spongy. Just a few turns there needed.
Next was checking the for any wobble in the wheels or disk brakes.Wheels were fine as was the rear disk brake but the front disk and brake pads were rubbing when spinning the front wheel off the ground.
the disk looked to be true so I had to YouTube a video on how to adjust mechanical disk brakes and now everything is perfect. No more brake pads running on the disk.Pretty simple task
Only left to do was adjust my seat. When sitting I felt I was slipping forward off the seat so I just loosened up the bolts under the seat to adjust the angle of the seat to my liking. Now just waiting for my weekend to take her out for a spin.Oh I also went ahead and unlocked it to 28 mph.

Make sure to adjust the inner pad equally to the outer pad cable control. Usually just a simple adjustment with an allen wrench.

Thanks for your reply.I did see that adj Allen screw and checked and when looking thru with a flash light and a white piece of paper behind I could see they looked the same distance apart from the rotor.Close enough anyways and when squeezing the hand brake multiple times and rechecking looked like both pads returned to their settings I made.

Well today I made my second adjustment to the bike.Did a rear Derailler adjustment .On my first ride last Sunday it wasn’t shifting well. All good for now.

First ride on an Ebike? I had a major blast riding one for the first time.
Yes. Last Sunday was my first ride on an ebike and yes it was a blast.A friend came over a couple days ago and I let him try it out. Same results with him also. He thought it was so freaking cool.
