If you don't mind, can you post a good photo of the information stamped on the bottom of the motor, both of the sections for the controller and motor, and all the plugs coming out of the motor.
Thank you.

Hi members.

Over the past few months Bafangs new m620 Canbus motor has caused some discussions and got me thinking/panicking. What if my UART ever had a problem down the line, would I be able to replace like for like parts?

I really like my Uart programmable motor and decided I better buy another while I can!!

I've purchased a second hand bare motor brand new stock on eBay as an impulse buy.

Trouble is how can you tell if it's Uart or Canbus when it's just a bare motor?..

does anyone have a confirmed Canbus bare motor to hand and check the connections to see if they are totally different?.

Some pics would be great.

Here's some pictures of the new Bafang m620/g510 spare motor I purchased recently.

Fingers crossed it's Uart!!. Can anyone confirm?

Many thanks in advance 😊
Now you have me thinking, the wire connectors are the same,on the motor. Just the Cord running up to the Display Has the New "CANbus" Connector ?

There is a difference between the Uart and Canbus motor information and plugs coming from the top of the motor, here is some info I have put together that may help.

The photo you posted also confirms with the information I have (so Far, very limited), that the info in these spec boxes tells you what motor you have, and is further confirmed that when you have the main (CORRECT) harness that fits the motor plugs, there is little doubt which motor you have.

The difference of the Can motor is this,
(wires/plugs connection shape, OUT of the motor),
all the wires are white colored, except the power cables are Red/Black.
The main wire harness (8 wire) is a female white connection,
the (3 wire) is a male coupler, speed sensor,
the (3 wire) is a female coupler, shift sensor,
the (3 wire), is a female Black connection/w white wire, Battery communication,
the 2 wire with the Blue connection is a female, head light,
the 2 wire with the Blue connection is a male, tail light,
and the standard Red/Black colored power cables,

The differences of the Uart motor is this,
(wires/plugs connection shape, OUT of the motor)
all the wires are white colored, except the power cables are Red/Black.
The main wire harness (8 wire) is a male, white connection, main Harness
the (3 wire) is a male, Black connection, Battery communication,
the (3 wire) is a male White connection coupler, speed sensor
the (3 wire) with a white colored connector is a female, shift sensor,
the (2 wire) with blue colored connector is a female, tail light,
the (2 wire) with the blue colored connector is a male, head light
the standard Red/Black colored power cables are both females.
4 Male plugs and 4 female plugs

Black colored (3 wire), is a female connection (no wires attached)
and the standard Red/Black power cables,
1.* the 2 wire with the Blue colored connection) is a female,
2.* the 2 wire with the Blue colored connection is a male (no wires attached),
I believe these 2 above * are the head/tail light connectors?,

The main wire harness (8 wire) is a male white connection coupler,
the (3 wire) is a male, Black connection coupler, (has blocked off wire port)
the (3 wire) is a male White connection coupler,
the (2 wire) with the blue colored connector coupler is a male,
the other (3 wire/white) with a white colored connector coupler is a female,
the other (2 wire/white) with blue colored connector coupler is a female,
the standard Red/Black colored power cables are both females.

I just talked to Bafang USA Tech Department ,he asked for Serial of motor & display .
I explained my problems.
I will post results.
How long have you been dealing with this mess ?
