Luna Bikes?

I've had two successful orders from luna. A battery, and a hub motor+controller+charger.
Was professional when I complained the wheel build order was late (10 weeks instead of promised 2).
This was after I bought piles of trash named batteries that wouldn't even put out 50 W for 7 smiles (1 amp) from btrbattery/amazon and I don't remember/ebay. Also after I attempted to buy a geared hubmotor MAC12 from electric-bikes.com and he cancelled my order because I weigh too much (I'm 160 lb) and we have hills in S. Indiana. Electric-bikes.com tried to force me into a DD hubmotor crystal for $700 when they drag like an anchor unpowered. So all in all luna is a welcome relief, even though this order was a little slow.

Why isn't Luna a name brand on the list of ebikes by name brand?
Because it's not a brand :).... Seriously though, - must be what Timpo said - the guy got banned. Or EBR omitted it unintentionally, same as dozens (if not hundreds) of other kit bikes.

From what I read, their batteries are better than an average ebay or Amazon fly-by-night seller, though I would buy in another place. Their motors are a common Bafang mid-drive.

Luna sells decent products. I have a full suspension mountain bike with BBSHD from them for 3 years now and still running like new. They are better than alibaba, chinese ebay or amazon generic products and you can call them if you have problem with your purchase. They source their ebike parts from China using Bafang, Mac, golden pie, and they have decent american made/assembled batterries and chargers.

Their products don't have speed restrictions, they even brag about the speed capabailities of their ebikes.

The owner had a bad rap here in EBR when he posted arrogant and flat out nasty remarks and he was eventually banned at EBR.

I can see banning him, if he was rude repeatedly. I don't get not having his products listed. I don't care if he just makes kit bikes. That's what a lot of companies do. He just does it in USA. But, whatever.
