Lost the rubber plug for the key hole on an Atom Lynx 6 27.5 pro.

The second day I had the bike I brushed my foot against the key rubber plug and tore it from the tether. I have been really careful to not lose it until yesterday. Is there an online store that I can order parts? If not, I will call a dealer for the part.
My second question is that I have to split the plastic cases around the drive to attach the tether. Will doing that void my warranty? I'm very mechanically inclined and have wrenched on all my bicycles, motorcycles and vehicles since I was a kid and can do this very easily. I just don't want to void the warranty when I have to remove the Brose sticker on top of the plastic cover.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

I would call your LBS/dealer and see what they can do to help or just give good constructive advice. Voiding a warranty for an expensive E-bike is not worth the risks IMO. Good Luck!

Thanks, Bob, I appreciate the advice. I emailed the dealer today and they are sending me another plug. They said that the tether can just be pushed through the plastic hole and the covers do not need to be removed. Great news!

Great! Glad you found the help. Always a good idea to use discretion before moving forward. Certainly an easy fix for a small problem that could have potentially turned into a larger one. Cheers!

Thanks again, Bob! I like your avatar. I have a few dual sports too, one being a KTM 450.
Had a great ride tonight with my DIY plug that will work until the new one arrives. Mostly frozen ground but a few slick spots where the mud was just starting to thaw. Talked a friend of mine in to buying the Atom x and this was his first ride. He's hooked as am I. I'm ready to buy a second one once the weather gets warmer and give my current bike to my wife or daughter.

Thanks, the KTM Freeride is quite a machine. I also like the Atom X with the Brose'. Joe Marcoux (bodybuilder) from BH did a nice presentation of this bike highlighting all of the new features. Good choice for just about any BH built E-bike. I have 2 BH commuter E-bikes. I upgraded the side mount display with the center heads up interface. What a difference in overall functionality. Enjoy your rides.

I have a couple friends with the Freeride and it's a really nice bike.. I'll check out the Joe Marcoux video, thanks.
rideaholic- I really dig that Double Backflip from Travis Pastrana video. This guy can do just about anything in offroad Moto. I would like to see what he is able to do with scrubbing on an an EMTB. :p
