Might be a good idea to look for your receipt to deflect any questions about ownership.

If you bought from a LBS, finding the receipt and any other documentation that came with the bike might be a good idea. My LBS wrote the key code on the receipt and inside the user guide along with the bike S/N. I think the LBS also keeps the key code in their customer data base, although I am not sure of that.

I agree on the locksmith although they might require you to show proof of ownership. Where I live stolen bikes are a very hot commodity.

My concern for you is hoping the locksmith can identify the brand/model of lock and in turn the key blank. With a such quality bike like yours I'm certain your LBS
can with help from the maker get the make / model of your lock. That would most likely save your locksmith time aka $$ for you.

Proof of ownership is an important part of this process. If you don't have receipts, your bike shop or online dealer will be able to look you up. My local bike shop keeps a record of everything I buy. It's great, because if I have a problem I don't ever need a receipt--they just look up the purchase and then help me with my problem. And, the dealer where I bought my bike? They all know me, so that would be easy peasy.

If you got the bike second-hand, the original purchaser can be helpful.

If it turns out you purchased a stolen bike and you discover that through this process, take the bike to the police in your area so that they can return it to the owner. Expensive lesson learned.
