Hello, im a high school student and I'm looking to buy an ebike so I can bike to school and not be as sweaty when I arrive. I was looking at the Flux bike but I'm not sure what else is around as well as if that is a good bike any help is appreciated thanks!

Hi,

The bikes were super-cheap at the start of the campaign, and they have started to deliver. You might as well wait for reports on the real bikes. Try to read some reviews on the main page and figure out how you ride, distances, hills, how fast you want to go, how much you want to carry. Most of this site is about the reviews, and Flux is reviewed. The forum is great for specific questions, not so good for anything general.

I am also stuck between the Juiced Crosscurrent and the Flx Roadster. The Juiced has a handful of reviews where currently the Flux only has reviews based on pre-production models. I like the fact the Flx has a mid-drive but I like the fact the Juiced has torque sensor and what seems like some very quality parts.

You can have virtually any bike for around that price if you simply buy a used one in good condition.
I agree. Look at the used bikes for sale on this website and on craigslist. Verify that there's a local bike shop that will service the bike you are interested in, and have the shop check out the bike before you buy, if possible. You may have to pay a fee to have them do that, but it's worth the money.

Easy Motion Evo Street is a good one, if you are 5'5" or taller imho
I am 5' almost 4", and just traded my Evo for a Pedego 24" Interceptor
