Liquid/Slushing noise on Aventure?

Hi - Strange question but at times during riding (especially when breaking hard into a corner), I have this sound of liquid sloshing around ... I've never had shocks before so wondering if this is related to oil in the shocks? Am I dreaming or is this a real noise?

Thanks

Water in a frame tube? Has it been in heavy rain? Or washed with a hose? Steel or Aluminum frame?

I heard this on my friends Aventon Level. It's seems like it's in the hub or the brake... not the frame, it's a weird liquid sloshing sound.

@retiredNH I don't believe it's water in the frame tube. Bike is only a few weeks old and has never been in the elements or hosed down.

@BigNerd Interesting! So maybe I'm not going mental after all. It is indeed a weird liquid sloshing sound. My current theory is still related to the shock absorber, I'm just unable to replicate the noise on-demand. I need to pay attention to what I'm doing when the noise occurs.

My friend said it's their rear brake. He just bought it a few weeks ago so will take it into the shop as he bought it locally.

One plus about Aventon vs other brands is there are some local stores selling/servicing them.

Could be in the tire. When I first got my Aventure I put flatout in the tubes, and it felt like front fork oscillation even on level ground. Come winter and something froze inside the tire throwing it WAY off balance.

I have a thread here where I initially blamed Flatout,

But as I said in post #14 of that thread I later found there was a LOT of water or some other liquid inside the tube in addition to the sealant. Taking out the valve, wringing and squeezing out the tube, and re-applying flatout solved the issue. I had added the recommended amount of sealant, but when I drained the tube about a quart and some change of foul smelling thin liquid came out.

I don't know what the hell it was, water, cleaner? Someone at the factory needed to take a leak?!? But for me there was some sort of liquid inside the tube that shouldn't have been there.
