Lighting for LaFree

The light off my old non electric bike isn't good enough for me any more, well it is 20 years old and I don't see as well in the dark as I use to. Any suggestions? I would prefer not to have it connected to the bike's battery. I wasn't concerned until I had to go out twice in the last week at night.

If you don't want a light connected to the bike's battery, I recommend the Cyglo Light Metro Pro 1100. I have one on my bike (even though I've got a great headlight connected to the bike's battery) which I use if riding trails at night, combined with my regular headlight, or alone during the day in the strobe mode to make me much more visible to oncoming traffic.
