Level - Front Brakes make scraping/grinding noise

I have almost 400 miles on my Aventon Level and yesterday the front brakes started making a scraping/grinding noise. I unbolted the caliper and slid a paper card between the pads, trying to free up possible dirt/debris, but the sound is still happening.

Anyone have any ideas on getting the brakes working without all the grinding?

Replace the pads. If you can find them, pads are pretty cheap.

You could also easily look at the rotors, but I suspect they're fine.

Since you unbolted the caliper, you should read up on how to re-align the caliper when you put it back on.

good luck getting pads for the bengal brakes, there so proprietary no one else makes them, I'm about to ditch my level in the gulf and watch it sink
