Hmmm. Not bad. For me, the holding accessories would seem to be important. I really like that they take 18650 batteries.

I noticed that in ytube testing the different batteries produced different capability.
The Mateminco was putting out about half the claimed lumens and up.

I live up against a pretty tall mountain. It might be ok to zero in on wildlife for viewing pleasure, but other than that, maybe to use if you were night hunting? Probably the best usage would be for a Search and Rescue truck...

I can think of lots of ways they would be fun to have, but not much need for one ... maybe in the center of the grill of my wife's car with an inside switch ...
I want to see one of these in person! LEP flashlights sound neat! I bought a Bushnell flashlight, a LED one, and its stupid bright. I lost the spec sheet but I got it at Wally World for around $100. The light end gets HOT after a minute or so. But the LEP lights have my attention. I guess I have a flashlight fetish.....

I am not tempted by LEP. I find super-throwy lights less useful for the vast majority of tasks. Even on a good thrower I'm willing to sacrifice some distance in order to keep some useful spill. Which is why my best thrower, a Noctigon K1, has an SBT90.2 emitter instead of a smaller (better focusing) LED.

The reviews I watched showed they only worked full power for a short time and then reduce.

No surprise there. My most powerful 18650 LED flashlights either get very hot and have quite short battery life at highest setting. Highest setting isn’t intended for long use rather a feature and convenience.

Nice light
I’ve stayed with 18650 since i have chargers and cells, but a 21700 would be convenient if rechargeable like your Noctigon K1.
