Last ride not recorded

I went out for a ride yesterday but forgot my phone. I Synced the Nyon with my iPhone when I got back. I know it takes an age for the activity to appear in eBikeConnect app so I forgot about it. But the activity still doesn’t show now the day after.
This syncing seems a bit hit and miss at times. Does the Nyon need to be connected to the phone during a ride? I wouldn’t have thought so.

The Nyon has to be connected to your home wifi in order to record your rides. It does not synch ride data using your cell phone but rather through wifi. Depending on your settings it will not show a completed ride until you restart the Nyon the following day or the next time your start it up. What you can do with the app is rearrange or change fields in your custom screen modes while away from home wifi, which can also be done on the ebike connect portal using your computer.
