Kt-lcd5 gets pretty hot when powered on

Kt-lcd5 gets hot when I power the bike on and the lcd kind of pulses and it has to be unplugged and it hasn’t burned up and I just don’t know where to go. The battery is a 36v 10ah 250watt. I’ve never had an electric bike before and

It shouldn't get hot. Is this a DIY kit or a store bought ebike? Is it under any kind of warranty? DId the bike work before? Etc. Etc.

They only cost about 30 dollars if you have to get a new one at your own cost.
